In September, when the mushroom season is approaching its peak, the Vienna Fungi Festival makes Vienna the capital of fungi with exibitions, films and talks by renowned scientists. Learn more about the fascinating realm of fungi and their importance in ecosystems, medicine and nutrition in talks by Merlin Sheldrake, Monika Schmoll, Josef Strauss and many more. Experience the fascinating world of mushrooms during hikes in small groups with experts. Take part in mushroom workshops and learn from professionals how to identify and process mushrooms.
